누군가는 분노했고, 누군가는 슬펐고, 또 누군가는 희망을 품었다. 말하고 싶어서, 잊히고 싶지 않아서, 바꿔보고 싶어서 광장에 달려 나온 시민들은 두 손으로 깃대를 꼭 쥐고, 머리 위로 깃발을 올렸다.
거리에 나온 '사람들'과 그들이 든 '깃발'에 주목한다. 각자의 절실한 이유를 안고 아스팔트 위로 쏟아진 깃발 하나하나를 기록했고, 그 깃발을 든 사람들에게 왜 여기 나왔는지, 왜 이 깃발을 들었는지 물었다.
말이 없던 깃발들이 광장을 지나는 바람을 따라, 깃대를 붙잡고 흔드는 기수들의 몸짓에 따라 쉼 없이 펄럭이며 무언갈 외치기 시작한다.
그 떨림은 삶의 진동이고, 흔들리는 민주주의의 맥박이다.
불안정하지만 강인하고, 위태롭지만 살아있는 깃발은
오늘날 우리가 마주한 현실과 저항, 연대, 그리고 희망의 은유다.
이 시리즈는 광장에 모인 수많은 목소리들의 시각적 기록이다.

Some were fueled by rage, some by sorrow, while others harbored hope. Driven by a desire to speak, a refusal to be forgotten, and a longing for change, citizens rushed to the plaza, gripping their flagpoles with both hands and lifting their banners high.
My gaze lingers on the 'people' in the streets and the 'flags' they bear. I documented each flag as it spilled onto the asphalt, laden with its own desperate purpose. I asked those who held them: What brought you here? Why do you carry this flag?
The once-silent flags begin to cry out, fluttering relentlessly in the wind sweeping across the plaza, swaying with the rhythmic strain of the bearers' bodies. They find their voice in the motion.
That tremor is the vibration of life; it is the pulse of a swaying democracy. Unstable yet steadfast, precarious yet vivid—these flags are metaphors for the reality we face: of resistance, of solidarity, and of hope.
This series is a visual archive of the myriad voices gathered in the plaza. I hope that through the snap and ripple of these flags, their wordless cries may finally be heard.
