한국GM의 부당 계약 종료 통보 46일 만에 세종물류센터의 투쟁 인원 전원이 일터로 돌아간다. 김용태 지회장의 등짝에 착 달라붙어 떨어질 줄 몰랐던 해고 통보서가 동지들의 손에 의해 떨어질 때, 사업장 안엔 약간의 뭉클함과 기쁨의 환호가 훈훈하게 맴돌았다. 노조 만들었다고 해고했지만, 노조로 뭉쳐 부품을 멈추고, 공장을 점거하며 끝내 쟁취했다.

Forty-six days after GM Korea’s unfair notification of contract termination, every worker involved in the Sejong Logistics Center struggle is returning to the workplace. As the dismissal notice—which had clung stubbornly to the back of Branch President Kim Yong-tae as if it would never leave—was finally peeled away by the hands of his comrades, a wave of profound emotion and triumphant cheers filled the facility with warmth.
They were fired for organizing a union; yet, it was through that very union that they united to halt the supply of parts, occupied the factory, and ultimately claimed their hard-won victory.
